Children's Hospital of Orange County outreach mobile clinic provides comprehensive screening, education and preventative healthcare services. The CHOC Breathmobile® visits 16 schools, 4 community centers and 3 community clinics on a rotating 4-6 week schedule. This community based program of mobile proactive health care has accomplished a significant reduction in emergency room visits, school absenteeism, and hospitalization.

The UCI Outreach Clinic is managed and staffed by UCI medical students with volunteer physician supervision. The medical students and their commitment to providing comprehensive medical and preventative care have helped thousands of underserved families and individuals in our community. The program strives to not only promote health and wellness in our community but act as a model for inspiring future health care professionals to explore and understand community based patient centered medicine in real time.
